Greg French joined the property department at AFG LAW in 2002. He became a partner and head of the department in 2004. Greg’s areas of expertise include: wills, inheritance tax planning, residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial leases and probate work.
Anita is a partner at AFG LAW in the property and private client department. Initially qualified as a licensed conveyancer, she qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and now also specialises in elderly client services such as wills, lasting powers of attorney, court of protection work and probate. She is also a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
Teresa Vickers qualified as a solicitor in 1982. She joined AFG LAW as a partner in September 2007. Teresa is the one of the supervising partners in the family and civil department and leads a team of specialist children representatives who are all on the Law Society’s Children Panel.
Emma Cordock joined AFG LAW in November 2007. She qualified as a fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in June 2008 and subsequently qualified as a solicitor in April 2011. She currently undertakes family work. She specialises in representing parents and grandparents in care proceedings and working with victims of domestic violence.
Carl joined AFG LAW in June 1996 and commenced studying for the legal executive qualification. Working within the residential property department, Carl predominantly acts on behalf of clients in the sale and purchase of domestic properties, remortgages and equity release transactions.
Michael Morgan has been with the firm since 1961 and qualified as a solicitor in 1966. He was a partner between the years 1970 to 2004, after which he retired from the partnership to become a senior associate within the practice. He now concentrates his time as a private client lawyer specialising in people and their affairs and, in particular, their property.
Leigh joined the practice in 1999 weeks before qualifying as a solicitor and over the last 10 years has specialised solely in criminal defence work. A considerable proportion of her time is spent with suspects in the police station throughout their detention, advising on issues of law, police powers and charge.
Jill advises in all areas of law to do with the break-up of the family or relationship, specialising in private law applications for contact, residence and / or any other issue that may arise in relation to children. Jill acts for both married and unmarried clients on their rights in relation to property and assets upon separation.
Daniela Maggioni qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and joined AFG LAW as an associate solicitor in July 2009. Daniela has always practiced in family law work and has built up experience and knowledge in this area. She became a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel in 2009 and since that time has specialised in representing children.
Gayle is a chartered legal executive and family lawyer who advises in all areas of public and private family law. She specialises in advising parents, grandparents and other family members regarding care proceedings as well as in relation to difficulties they may be experiencing in respect of contact and residence for children.
Matt is an Assistant Solicitor in our civil department. He first began working for AFG as a paralegal in the Family Department in 2013, before starting his training contract in March 2015. Having qualified in October 2106 after seven years of training, Matt chose to practice Civil Litigation.
Tom has over 20 years experience of working as a Financial Adviser and has been part of AFG LAW Financial Planning since September 2015. He has extensive experience in helping clients with a wide range of financial planning needs including protection, pensions, investments and Inheritance Tax Planning.
