Trish French

Trish French was made Head of Dispute Resolution at AFG Law in June 2026, bringing extensive litigation experience and a practical, approachable style to her work.

She studied at Thornleigh Salesian College in Bolton before graduating with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Northumbria in 1994 and completing her Legal Practice Course there in 1995.

Trish qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and built her career in litigation across Manchester, as well as with partner consultancies in Blackburn and Burnley. In 2018, she moved into primary education, where she supported children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Remaining on the Roll throughout her time away from practice, Trish maintained strong professional connections and has now returned to the legal profession with a wealth of experience and insight. She is passionate about delivering a trusted, efficient service and leading the continued growth of AFG Law’s Dispute Resolution team.
