We smashed our fundraising target – we’ll update you on exactly how much we raised but we have almost £1,500 on our Just Giving page and £600 pledged offline plus further pledges which would be sent after the event – watch this space! And THANK YOU all for your support.
Our official finishing time was 9 hours and 8 minutes. We were placed 11th overall out of 26 teams but were the only starting team with three team members so it is even more amazing to rank 11th.

And Team AFG were the fastest mixed male/female team in the race! Our closest competitor finished in 9hrs 57mins. We were also the fastest team on the Cycle Stage 3!
Although, as Greg mentioned our Canoeing wasn’t exactly up to scratch! Less power and more technique needed. We’ll sort that for next year! And last but not least, Abbie was the fastest woman in the race!
