In a move that reflects our commitment to investing growth, leadership and innovation, AFG Law is thrilled to announce the appointment of Trish French as the new Head of our Dispute Resolution department.
Trish began her journey studying at Thornleigh Salesian College in Bolton, before graduating with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Northumbria in 1994 and completing her Legal Practice Course there in 1995.
Trish qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and worked in litigation across Manchester, as well as with partner consultancies in Blackburn and Burnley, until 2018. This is when she stepped away from the legal world and transitioned into primary education, focusing on supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
Although Trish stepped away from practice, she remained on the Roll and maintained an impressive network of professional contacts, alongside a long-standing connection to AFG Law through her husband. Now returning to the work she is passionate about, she brings with her an exceptional skillset and valuable industry experience that will help shape the next chapter of Dispute Resolution at AFG Law. Trish is going in with an open and approachable strategy, focused on delivering a trusted and efficient service to all of our clients.
