FREE LEGAL CLINIC FOR GRANDPARENTS

Are you having problems with seeing your grandchildren?

Do you know your rights in respect of your grandchildren?

Grandparents do not have any automatic rights in respect of their grandchildren but in our view, this is very outdated. Grandparents play an important role in the upbringing of children and providing them with support and stability to grow and develop.

.

We have worked with numerous grandparents over the years providing legal advice and representing them to work out access arrangements to remain part of their grandchildren’s lives.

As part of our work to support grandparents’ rights, we are holding a monthly drop-in clinic for grandparents to receive expert legal advice in relation to their family matters on the last Tuesday of each month in Bury town centre.

There is no fee to attend the event but please book your place here so that we know how many people we are catering for and to make sure we can see everyone on the day – those who have booked will take priority over those who just call in but we will do our best to see everyone.

If you need to speak to us before the next drop-in clinic, please contact Emma Cordock on 0161 359 3880 or Gayle Clipsham on 01204 377600 or email paralegal@afglaw.co.uk
