Bury professionals launch

September 9, 2013

On Wednesday 11 September, between 12pm and 2pm, we are launching Bury Professionals, a networking group for fellow professionals to get together, have a bite to eat and catch up. The Bury Professionals networking group is an informal set up for professionals to relax and consider relevant industry issues with others who are in the same, or different, business sectors.

The launch day lunch will take place at Santino Restaurant on Manchester Old Road. There are no joining fees for Bury Professionals, no sales gimmicks and no hassle – just £10 on the day to cover your lunch. We’re not limiting the number of members from each profession, so you may be able to talk shop with your sector colleagues and swap notes and experiences.
‘Bury currently has a lot of networking groups; however, there isn’t anything specifically for professionals to take a couple of hours out of their day to meet up – informally – and build relationships and discuss relevant issues,’ commented Greg French, Lead Partner at Bury Office.

Membership is not exclusive or limited to one firm per business sector. Bury Professionals differs from existing networking groups in that it would not be unusual for 10 or more solicitors from different firms to join – all professionals are welcome.

‘We want to throw ourselves into the Bury community and get to know as many other professionals as possible – and there seemed to be a gap for this type of group! It’ll be mainly social, building relationships and sharing best practice once a month,’ added Greg.

Future events will take place on the second Wednesday of each month after the first event on Wednesday 11th September 2013.
