Katrina Gaskell

Background

Katrina has worked in our family department since joining AFG LAW in 2017 as a Paralegal.

Having gained a degree in Criminology at Liverpool John Moores University she went on to complete her Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law and has been working hard to achieve her dream of becoming a solicitor. Katrina was offered a Training Contract with us which she started in April 2023 and is currently studying the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) alongside working full time.

Services provided

Katrina is passionate about family law and help vulnerable clients. She has experience in care proceedings, Public Law proceedings, Private Law proceedings including, Child Arrangement Orders, Non-Molestation Orders and Divorce matters.

She is keen to support vulnerable clients who face serious allegations and has assisted in obtaining exceptional funding for some clients who may not otherwise be eligible for Legal Aid.

Outside of work

As an active member of the team, Katrina spends much of her own time helping with the firm’s charity and fundraising events and supporting those organisations who help our vulnerable clients. She is always prepared to go that extra mile and is well known in the Bury business community as a respected networker and someone who will always help others.
