Gayle Clipsham

Background

Gayle began her legal career in 2004 as a secretary and embarked on her studies through Ilex Law School. Gayle joined AFG Law in 2009 as a secretary in the Family Department and progressed her career becoming the firm’s first Paralegal and was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2013.

She has since moved into a management role within the Family Department and is responsible for the management and training of the paralegals and administration staff. She also oversees the business administration and paralegal apprentices within the Department.  She has a real passion for family law, for sharing her legal knowledge and inspiring the next generation of lawyers.

Services provided

Gayle is empathetic and can advise on a wide range of areas relating to family law and relationship breakdowns – from Local Authority involvement (pre-proceedings, care proceedings and placement proceedings) through to divorce, domestic abuse and difficulties regarding child arrangements.  She has represented parents, grandparents and intervenors in private law and public law proceedings.

Outside of Work

Outside of work, Gayle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, gardening, sewing and rock music.
