Rebecca Hamilton

Background

Rebecca studied Law at University, graduating with a LLB Hons Law Degree in 2019 and went on to gain a distinction in her Master of Laws – LLM, International Human Rights Law before joining AFG LAW in November 2020 as a Paralegal. She was promoted in September 2021 to Graduate Family Law Paralegal and was offered a Training Contract with us which she commenced in April 2023.

Rebecca is currently studying the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) alongside working full time.

Services Provided

Passionate about family law, Rebecca has become an integral part of the family team at AFG and goes over and above her role requirements to ensure all matters are handled professionally and efficiently.

Rebecca has gained experience in and is currently undertaking work in all aspects of family law including:

• Divorce proceedings
• Private Law Children matters such as Child Arrangement Orders; Specific Issue Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders
• Pre-Proceedings (PLO)
• Care Proceedings

Rebecca is excited to further develop her knowledge over the course of her training contract.

Having thrown herself into all aspects of the role, Rebecca is involved in creating family content for the firm’s website and social platforms, in addition to networking and promoting the firm at business and careers events.

Outside of Work

Rebecca enjoys travelling, reading and supporting charity and fundraising activities – within the firm and in her own time.
