Matthew Davidson

Matthew joined AFG LAW in November 2016 and is now Head of Finance and also Head of the Costs Department.

Matt is responsible for the monitoring of all the firm’s financial activity and works closely with the directors and our external accountants to maximise business performance in all areas within his remit.

His work includes analysing and monitoring management accounts, overseeing the management of income and controlling expenditure in addition to preparing firm-wide budgets and forecasts each quarter.

Matt’s role requires him to lead and develop the firm’s finance team, ensuring that everyone is aware of their roles and responsibilities, opportunities available and that they are supported by him when working towards their own personal development plans.

In his spare time, coffee lover Matt enjoys football, golf and fitness in general.
