Laura qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and has specialised in family law since qualification. She has worked in Greater Manchester since 2012 and has developed a good reputation both amongst her peers and the charitable/support sector in the city.
Laura’s ability to identify and meet her clients’ needs along with her dedication to ensuring legal services are accessible to everyone, especially the most vulnerable in society, led to her being awarded “Lawyer of the Year” at the Made in Manchester Awards in 2015. She was also shortlisted in the North West Young Professional Awards the same year. More recently she was personally recognised for her work on domestic abuse during debates in the House of Lords on the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
She holds the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation which is an industry recognised quality standard for solicitors’ practising children law and allows her to be instructed by professional clients on behalf of children in proceedings.
Her clients appreciate the calm and reassuring support she gives them and her holistic approach. Her firm but fair attitude and attention to detail help her achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients. Laura specialises in proceedings involving children, both public and private law, and in domestic abuse.
