We'll call you back
If you don’t already have one, you should consider writing a will. The will writing solicitors at AFG Law can help you prepare a will that will ensure your property and financial assets are distributed appropriately, rather than going to the state.
We regularly advise clients throughout Bolton and the North West on all aspects of writing a will and probate. For more information call Greg French on 01204 377 600 or email us at email@example.com and we will get back to you.
Why Write a Will?
Writing a will is an important process in any individual’s life. If you don’t prepare a will then your assets will not necessarily go to the people you want them to go to.
If a person dies without writing a will, their assets are distributed according to the rules of intestacy. Under existing UK intestacy laws only married or civil partners and some other close relatives can inherit.
By making use of a will writing service, you can ensure that specific assets are awarded to specific people, whether within or outside your family and can also make sure that any organisations are credited.
The Will Writing Process
At AFG Law we work closely with our clients to ensure their wishes are clearly represented in their will. Our experienced solicitors will:
• discuss in detail your preferences for distribution of assets;
• draft a will that adheres to your instructions;
• submit your will for review to ensure it adheres to existing UK laws;
• deliver your will to you.
Once you have received your will you need to sign it in the presence of witnesses; once this is done your will is legally binding.
