On Monday 1 June 2015, Emma Cordock, Emma Green and Gayle Clipsham from the family team at AFG LAW paid a visit to Booth House.
Booth House is a high intensity therapeutic residential home offering 4 placements for girls aged 11 to 17 years. They specialise in the recovery from and treatment of Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) but the facility is not exclusively CSE. They offer planned admissions only with high intensity therapeutic care for any girls who present disorganised and disintegrated attachment, chronic trauma and dissociation. They also cater for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
The idea behind the home came from a lifelong ambition of Julie Stirpe who is a psychotherapist with over 20 years experience working with children, adults, couples and families. The home is owned and run by Life Change Care Limited of which Julie Stirpe is Director.
AFG were impressed by the facilities on offer at Booth House.
