Divorce And Separation

We understand that facing the possibility of your marriage or relationship coming to an end is something very difficult to cope with. There can be bitterness, anguish, fear of what the future holds and the feeling of loss and failure. Sometimes contact with Solicitors may be the first port of call or the very last. However you come to us and for what ever reason, we will provide you with a professional and personal service. We care about our clients and you can be sure of sensitive and balanced advice. There are no easy answers, but we will do our best to guide you through your post separation difficulties by negotiation, mediation, conciliation or by Court proceedings, help you achieve appropriate goals for you and your family.

Children

We realise that they are the most precious thing you have and understand how painful choices for their future can be, either when parents separate or when the Local Authority feels it should intervene over the care of a child. We are here to provide you with sensitive and balanced advice as to how you can approach and deal with your family's future.

Costs

We realise that you may be concerned as to the costs of taking advice or proceedings. Firstly, you may well qualify for Public Funding assistance. We will be happy to advise as to whether you are likely to qualify. If that is granted, either the State will fund any advice and/or proceedings that may need to be issued or will do so with a contribution from you that is payable by monthly instalments. Always remember, however, that the Legal Services Commission, who run Public Funding, can claim part of your settlement if you are successful and we will be happy to advise of the circumstances in which that could apply in order that you are able to conduct your case in a most cost effective way. If you do not qualify for Public Assistance, we will provide you with a clear breakdown of the likely costs, regular interim bills, so that you can keep up to date with what your case is costing and arrange a payment package suitable for you, your needs, and your finances.

Domestic Violence

Are you in danger? Feel you need advice on how to protect yourself or your children? - We can help. We can put you in touch with the appropriate agencies and/or advise you about proceedings that can be issued to provide that protection. When phoning, please tell us you feel at risk and arrangements can be made to “fit you in” for an emergency interview.

Wills And Inheritence
