The History of the AFG LAW Firm in Bolton

Founded in 1897 by Adam Fletcher Greenhalgh, the law practice has grown from its humble beginnings in Wood Street, Bolton, to become one of the areas most highly respected and successful firms.

Over the last 100 years the firm has seen many changes including its relocation, initially to Acresfield Mall and finally in 1947 to its present day location in Mawdsley Street.

That year marked another milestone for AFG LAW when the founder's son, Stephen Adam Greenhalgh, joined the firm.

The success of AFG LAW can be attributed to the quality of services it provides. The firm currently has 6 partners, each with a wealth of expertise in their own field, 5 Associate Solicitors, as well as a number of Legal Executives, legal clerks and highly trained and experienced support staff.

Michael Morgan who is now a consultant with the firm after being a partner for over 20 years, has many years of experience in the law and practice of public rights of way, and is also a Member of the Academy of Experts for Rights of Way.
